Welcome to Footnotes

Footnotes Audio Walks are extensively researched guides which allow you to explore places at your own pace. Some of the walks cover well known areas, others take you to locations ignored in conventional guide books.

The guides draw on history, architecture, science, literature, even gossip and reflect the interests of the different compilers. Walks take between one and two hours, and you can do them when you wish and at your own pace. You can even enjoy them from the comfort of your armchair.

The walks are all available as MP3 downloads, and some as CDs while stocks last.

We currently have twenty five self-guided walks to choose from: twenty one in London, four outside London. Our most recent London walk, Fitzrovia, is the first in our exciting new series of guest walks – walks suggested to us by their creators, or walks we have invited specialists to compile for Footnotes Audio Walks. Guest walks will be highly individual and may vary in format from our original walks.
