Ends: Embankment underground station.
Time: Approx. 1 hour 45 minutes.
Distance: 2 kilometres.
wheelchair access A hilly walk. Avoid Watergate Walk. Instead, come back up Villiers Street, turn right on John Adam Street and right again on Buckingham Street. Pick up commentary outside No 14. Miss out the Queen's Chapel of the Savoy.
Route: Charing Cross Station, Villiers Street, Buckingham Street, John Adam Street, The Adelphi, Strand, The Savoy, Somerset House, Victoria Embankment.
